Cascade Park West's Allen Dalton got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Claudio Ubeda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Cascade Park West's Zoilo Doblas tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Cascade Park West defense, Nils Bohr kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dario Wilhelm. The Cascade Park West fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dario Wilhelm should have stopped the shot. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terence McKenna in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cascade Park West's zone, Teofilo Unai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Wilhelm came out of the goal and Teofilo Unai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudio Ubeda was slow to take the kick. During this time Baby Snakes's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Baby Snakes's corner Claudio Ubeda fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dario Wilhelm quite easily take care of the ball. In the 41st minute, Teofilo Unai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Wilhelm was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 43rd minute, Ziggy Stardorf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 minutes of play, Baby Snakes's Terence McKenna made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dario Wilhelm was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Baby Snakes were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amir Lee stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Claude Joyner in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Baby Snakes's Genílson Figueiredo. 55 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilo Unai. In the 60th minute, Ziggy Stardorf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baby Snakes's Harvey Courtney was substituted for Artuir McNamee. Ziggy Stardorf kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Ron Tomkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amir Lee, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute.
