Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zygmunt Zielonka in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesse McJames prevented the ball from getting in the gole. KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's Babayaro Brzęczyszczykiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phillip McKeochan in the 8th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Smiddy Celts's Graeme Gordon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Babayaro Brzęczyszczykiewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Smiddy Celts's Jesse McJames played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbigniew Kurwil in the 20th minute of play. When Smiddy Celts's Phillip McKeochan in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Phillip McKeochan made a kick off. Babayaro Brzęczyszczykiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phillip McKeochan, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Paddy Thomson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phillip McKeochan in the 60th minute of play forced KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's goalkeeper Babayaro Brzęczyszczykiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Laerte Tande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Smiddy Celts's Jesse McJames played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bowie Dillon in the 71st minute of play. KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's Babayaro Brzęczyszczykiewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946 from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's zone, Graeme McRobie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Babayaro Brzęczyszczykiewicz came out of the goal and Graeme McRobie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Smiddy Celts's goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Zielonka came free, but Jesse McJames reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Graeme McRobie lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Babayaro Brzęczyszczykiewicz. After a rather tough play, KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's Zygmunt Zielonka got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Phillip McKeochan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Graeme McRobie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Babayaro Brzęczyszczykiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Graeme McRobie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Smiddy Celts's supporters rose to their feet, but Graeme McRobie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Babayaro Brzęczyszczykiewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Babayaro Brzęczyszczykiewicz was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Graeme McRobie capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Graeme McRobie really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Smiddy Celts played a much better game than KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946 and deserved their victory. The KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
