Ron Tomkin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ron Tomkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Hovermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Ron Tomkin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Baby Snakes's Ron Tomkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo da Silva in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Baby Snakes's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Hovermann came free, but Ron Tomkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ron Tomkin came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Hertha 1969's Gigel Elenescu. But to his dismay, Gigel Elenescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Teofilo Unai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Rune Jarstein made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofilo Unai got free with Rune Jarstein in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Elenescu in the 44th minute of play forced Baby Snakes's goalkeeper Ron Tomkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Baby Snakes's Harvey Courtney was substituted for Artuir McNamee. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Oswald in the 64th minute of play forced Baby Snakes's goalkeeper Ron Tomkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils Hovermann got in the 68th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ron Tomkin handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The Hertha 1969 fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Hertha 1969's Nils Hovermann looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Baby Snakes's zone, Gigel Elenescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ron Tomkin came out of the goal and Gigel Elenescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute, Gigel Elenescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baby Snakes's Ron Tomkin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Baby Snakes from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hertha 1969 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
