Gonçalo Neiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reginaldo Rangel to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Victor de Sena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abílio Gois. SLB TELHA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor de Sena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 10 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Reginaldo Rangel. SLB TELHA's Abílio Gois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Sena in the 13th minute of play. Abílio Gois stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor de Sena's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Victor de Sena took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abílio Gois. Abílio Gois dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Abílio Gois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson Cordeiro in the 28th minute of play. After 29 minutes, André Sequeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SLB TELHA and the Clube do Remo MZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, André Sequeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor de Sena in the 30th minute of play forced SLB TELHA's goalkeeper Abílio Gois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abílio Gois didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Clube do Remo MZ's Wanderson Cordeiro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Patrik Beaton's late challenge caught a Clube do Remo MZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrik Beaton helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Beaton to maneuver through the defense. Abílio Gois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrik Beaton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Cléber Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Cléber Pinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonçalo Neiva went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Abílio Gois was a little too slow when Manfredo Breckenfeld got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-6. Manfredo Breckenfeld scored 1-7 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abílio Gois, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Almiro Assis kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Clube do Remo MZ's Vinícius Mineiro was substituted for Carlos Fernando Velloso. Clube do Remo MZ's Mário Maia was substituted for Wanderson Cordeiro. After 66 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Almiro Assis. Cléber Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Beaton in the 70th minute of play. With a little luck, SLB TELHA's Abílio Gois got control of the ball when Victor de Sena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abílio Gois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfredo Breckenfeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Neiva came free, but Cléber Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Clube do Remo MZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. João Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. João Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor de Sena got free with Abílio Gois in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the match, Mário Maia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abílio Gois, 1-9. Clube do Remo MZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
