Dieguinho Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristóf Földes in the 6th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Didi Couto made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Frank Catarinense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute of the game, Silas de Lima landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Lico Catarinense hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. GeRaÇãO-83's Dieguinho Paraíba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save GeRaÇãO-83 from getting a goal against them. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dieguinho Paraíba. Dogelo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
