In the 38th minute, Ezequiel Melo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bebeto Campidelis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. If Artur Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Fabiano Gøl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Divina Comédia FC's Bebeto Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Sergipano in the 52nd minute of play. Divina Comédia FC's Luiz Fabiano Gøl got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as AF CERRADO's Artur Sergipano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bebeto Campidelis. That made the score 2-8 after 93 minutes of play. In the 96th minute Arí Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Divina Comédia FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AF CERRADO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
