Gilmar Cabral showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Primatas FC made a substitution. Tomé Almeida replaced Juninho Quintal. Paulo de Mendonça made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Silvério Pires sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Primatas FC booed when Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Camargo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Luizinho Neves got a free kick in the 20th minute. Paulo de Mendonça was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gilmar Cabral. A collision led to Rio Verde F.C CIMZ getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Luizinho Neves hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Paulo de Mendonça had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvério Pires. With a little luck, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça got control of the ball when Silvério Pires tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute, Primatas FC's Gilmar Cabral dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Perivaldo Pimenta during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perivaldo Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ defense, Baltazar Nascimento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo de Mendonça. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo de Mendonça should have stopped the shot. Toninho Prestes was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Paulo de Mendonça came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Primatas FC's Silvério Pires. But to his dismay, Silvério Pires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Silvério Pires took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo de Mendonça. Paulo de Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. In the 87th minute, Ismael Mazza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo de Mendonça was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gugu Leme during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Primatas FC's Gugu Leme got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 97th minute, Ismael Mazza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Primatas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0.
