The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th match minute, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Torres to maneuver through the defense. In the 6thth minute of the game Mauro Sarmento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s John Victor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. John Victor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The supporters of Castanheiro SC booed when CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wanderson Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jefferson Paranaense hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Castanheiro SC's Marcelo Eger couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CANIL VON ZAATARI™️. John Victor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júnior Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. John Victor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Sarmento in the 18th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Wanderson Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Luís Paulo Coelho hit a great ball. The supporters of Castanheiro SC booed when CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elano Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute of the match Marcelo Eger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but John Victor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luisinho Seco hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Hernani Prata sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Castanheiro SC's Doni Seco didn't even have to move. 46 minutes into the match, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Alagoano came free, but John Victor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

John Victor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Alagoano in the 53rd minute of play. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s John Victor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ from getting a goal against them. Doni Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Almada, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute Marco Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Victor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Castanheiro SC's Mauro Sarmento got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute of the match, Júnior Alagoano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but John Victor saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mauro Sarmento received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. John Victor came out and tried to block the shot, but Mauro Sarmento slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 74th minute. Júnior Alagoano took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John Victor. John Victor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. John Victor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Eger in the 83rd minute. When Castanheiro SC's Mauro Sarmento in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goalie prevented a goal. After 89 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Eger. Thanks to some nice moves Marco Bezerra could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which John Victor however easily saved by the left post. The Castanheiro SC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Castanheiro SC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
