AF CERRADO's Lúcio Mandrak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save AF CERRADO from getting a goal against them. Lúcio Mandrak came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by 卡納里尼奧 FC's Eliseu Alagoano. But to his dismay, Eliseu Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Lúcio Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AF CERRADO's Lúcio Mandrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu Alagoano in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Sandro Dionísio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Lúcio Mandrak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute Arí Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Dionísio. A collision led to AF CERRADO getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Artur Sergipano hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Artur Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot. AF CERRADO's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Sergipano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Vítor Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Vítor Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Didi Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Arí Motta made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Arí Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. João Vítor Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AF CERRADO's Lúcio Mandrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Damasceno in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, 卡納里尼奧 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Marinho to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the game, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Elias Damasceno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lúcio Mandrak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 卡納里尼奧 FC made a substitution. Eurico Paes replaced Vítor da Costa. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Severino da Cunha was substituted for Régis Vides. After 77 minutes, Elias Damasceno made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. AF CERRADO's Lúcio Mandrak tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Sergipano to maneuver through the defense. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Severino da Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lúcio Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Damasceno in the 95th minute of the match. The 卡納里尼奧 FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
