Dale Dolar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arlindo Guedes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Dale Dolar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arlindo Guedes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Arlindo Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dale Dolar in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute Barcellos Mineiro FC were awarded a corner. Amílton Loyola went to the cornerflag to take it. 15 minutes into the match, Dale Dolar notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes. Arlindo Guedes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 19 minutes, Antônio Carlos Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AF CERRADO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antônio Carlos Bueno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arlindo Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dale Dolar in the 25th minute of play. Patricio Ugutz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcos Paulista showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 27 minute of play. If Róbson Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arlindo Guedes came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Barcellos Mineiro FC's Dale Dolar. But to his dismay, Dale Dolar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 34 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Dolar came free, but Arlindo Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murilo Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Patricio Ugutz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38thth minute of the game Dale Dolar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dale Dolar made a kick off. If Dale Dolar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 56 minutes AF CERRADO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amílton Loyola who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Amerigo Gervasi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arlindo Guedes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 64th minute Antônio Carlos Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Ugutz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Dale Dolar made a precise shot to the right of Arlindo Guedes. AF CERRADO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. AF CERRADO made a substitution. Dennis Contaldi replaced Róbson Bittencourt. If Amerigo Gervasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Arlindo Guedes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jorge Carrascal took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arlindo Guedes. Arlindo Guedes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. After having played for 86 minutes, Dennis Contaldi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AF CERRADO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dennis Contaldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 92 minutes of play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Jorge Carrascal made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arlindo Guedes was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Thiago Damião's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patricio Ugutz was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The AF CERRADO supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Barcellos Mineiro FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Barcellos Mineiro FC.
