Nando Leal hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 40 played minutes, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Unax Mudarra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bran Allison came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ATHLETICO PRaiano reached it. After a rather tough play, Cactos's Peter Bagge got a free kick in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cengizhan Baycan made the kick off in the second half. Conrado Capixaba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Rodriguinho Sousa made a huge save. ATHLETICO PRaiano were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cactos for a fine match.
