Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Martins in the 9th minute of play. Marquês de Herval's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pedro Luís da Rocha in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Selami Rezan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's goal looked a bit too open when Erlantz Bermejo came free, but Dida Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 minutes of play, A.D. Alcorcón's Erlantz Bermejo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dida Taffarel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Martins in the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to Marquês de Herval getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gaston Gonzalez hit a great ball. After 35 played minutes Marquês de Herval got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luís da Rocha. Gaston Gonzalez's late challenge caught a A.D. Alcorcón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaston Gonzalez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Gaston Gonzalez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dida Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Belo Alvarez sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Alfredo Martins made the kick off in the second half. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Martins in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nestor Paraibano. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Cano in the 56th minute of play. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Laurin Mangas replaced Nereo Acosta. A.D. In the 88th match minute, Marquês de Herval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of A.D. Alcorcón booed when Marquês de Herval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erlantz Bermejo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leroy Antunez in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Taffarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A.D. Alcorcón were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Marquês de Herval for a fine match.
