Marcelinho Barral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Nilmar Trigo fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roceira SC's protests and gave Nilmar Trigo a yellow card for diving instead. Nilmar Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Lano came free, but Marcelinho Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Soroca F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gustavo Tartalo in the 14th minute. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ksawery Winnicki in the 18th minute of play. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ksawery Winnicki in the 21st minute of play. Marcelinho Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Venceslao, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The audience was convinced that Adrián Espadas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelinho Barral was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Marcelinho Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrián Espadas in the 40th minute of play. Soroca F.C. were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Roceira SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gustavo Tartalo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Gustavo Tartalo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelinho Barral quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrián Espadas in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelinho Barral saved Roceira SC from getting behind. Cyprien Combaz kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Soroca F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrián Espadas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcelinho Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrián Espadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrián Espadas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelinho Barral having to make a save. Marcelinho Barral made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Adrián Espadas sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th minute, Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. 62 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelinho Barral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Soroca F.C. were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Roceira SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iordanis Karatzaferis took the corner. The corner ended in Natalio Mazuste almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Roceira SC's Marcelinho Barral did a great save. Dan Wennerqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michel Haaland's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Marcelinho Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Necula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Rodolfo Atarrabi in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Roceira SC's Válbson Moraes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Răzvan Necula got free with Marcelinho Barral in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Răzvan Necula managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soroca F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Răzvan Necula was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelinho Barral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Roceira SC defense, Răzvan Necula kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelinho Barral. The Roceira SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelinho Barral should have stopped the shot. Amador Venceslao blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelinho Barral having to make a save. Dan Wennerqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Haaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 92nd minute, Răzvan Necula made a precise shot to the right of Marcelinho Barral. Roceira SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4.
