ATILA's Placido Matro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şevket Çağa in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute Şevket Çağa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Matro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Lauro Idigoras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pankracy Glogowski was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 12th minute, Şevket Çağa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Jaizki. In the 18th minute Şevket Çağa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Matro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Álvaro Prata fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ATILA's protests and gave Álvaro Prata a yellow card for diving instead. Marcos Berdoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Placido Matro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Atlanta from getting a goal against them. Marcos Berdoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when ATILA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genadi Kotrulev didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, ATILA's goal looked a bit too open when Şevket Çağa came free, but Placido Matro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes of play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Eustaquio Jaizki made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Placido Matro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şevket Çağa in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Placido Matro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicanor Vellito kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute of the match Emil Chwalkiewicz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Placido Matro skillfully saved the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute of the match Club Atlético Atlanta got a corner. ATILA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emil Chwalkiewicz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Placido Matro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şevket Çağa in the 54th minute of the match. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Vallman in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sten Vallman in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pankracy Glogowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute, Eustaquio Jaizki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lauro Idigoras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Pankracy Glogowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Lauro Idigoras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Monico, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Club Atlético Atlanta's Eustaquio Jaizki got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Şevket Çağa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Matro having to interfere. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauro Idigoras in the 80th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Lauro Idigoras notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski. Pankracy Glogowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, ATILA's Placido Matro got control of the ball when Şevket Çağa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th minute Lauro Idigoras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ATILA's Lauro Idigoras got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Vallman in the 95th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Club Atlético Atlanta players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented ATILA from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
