Gaudencio Romano's late challenge caught a Encarale a la gordita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaudencio Romano helped the player get up and apologised. Gaudencio Romano kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Pedrinho Falconetti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Encarale a la gordita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrinho Falconetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Alvar Öberg got control of the ball when Pedrinho Falconetti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alvar Öberg made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Pedrinho Falconetti sent off a good shot on target. If Herman Lindholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Alvar Öberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Rio Tercero from getting a goal against them. If Herman Lindholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedrinho Falconetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Alvar Öberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shao Shu Lang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejandro Jerrald went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Encarale a la gordita's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
