A collision led to ALEXANDRIA getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Feliciano Itzaina hit a great ball. In the 8thth minute of the game Fred Karlsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ALEXANDRIA's Godfredo Obano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Fred Karlsson sped through ALEXANDRIA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Godfredo Obano. A collision led to ALEXANDRIA getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Gervasio Chorache hit a great ball. In the 23rd match minute, Club Atletico Rio Tercero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Jerrald to maneuver through the defense. Godfredo Obano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Mark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliciano Itzaina got free with Alvar Ă–berg in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ALEXANDRIA were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Club Atletico Rio Tercero's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cipriano Marques took the corner. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliciano Itzaina to make the kick off. Alvar Ă–berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Itzaina in the 52nd minute of play. After 55 minutes of play, ALEXANDRIA's Feliciano Itzaina made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvar Ă–berg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th match minute, ALEXANDRIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Itzaina to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Fred Karlsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godfredo Obano was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Itzaina in the 66th minute of play forced Club Atletico Rio Tercero's goalkeeper Alvar Ă–berg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86thth minute of the game Frits Pandiangan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Alvar Ă–berg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ALEXANDRIA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frits Pandiangan in the 88th minute. Frits Pandiangan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvar Ă–berg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. After 92 minutes, Saturnino Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Rio Tercero and the ALEXANDRIA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Saturnino Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atletico Rio Tercero were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing ALEXANDRIA to leave the ground with a draw.
