The referee showed Ashley Titmus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Hilsea's Ashley Titmus got a free kick in the 5th minute. Rachid Rowe came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Ducktwig FC's Jonny Arvidsson. But to his dismay, Jonny Arvidsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 10 played minutes Hilsea got a freekick which was hit by Gerry Roebuck. 11 minutes into the match, Jonny Arvidsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rachid Rowe. Hilsea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonny Arvidsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Claes Brogren succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. When Ducktwig FC's Claes Brogren in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hilsea's goalie prevented a goal. Niklas Månsson kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 25 played minutes Ducktwig FC got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Winström. A collision led to Ducktwig FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Walter Forssberg hit a great ball. Joel Beck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ashley Titmus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Hilsea defense, Jonny Arvidsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rachid Rowe. The Hilsea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rachid Rowe should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Jonny Arvidsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ducktwig FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonny Arvidsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rachid Rowe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rachid Rowe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claes Brogren in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ducktwig FC's goalkeeper Joel Beck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonny Arvidsson hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Niklas Månsson got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 47th minute, Niklas Månsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ashley Titmus to make the kick off. Joel Beck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ashley Titmus in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 61st minute Larry Butt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Beck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claes Brogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Rowe having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Ducktwig FC's Jens Hedin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rachid Rowe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rachid Rowe was a little too slow when Claes Brogren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-5. Rachid Rowe made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Jens Hedin sent off a good shot on target. With 74 minutes on the clock, Jakob Winström commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The throw-in from Ian Houghton in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ducktwig FC's Jonny Arvidsson. A collision led to Hilsea getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Larry Butt hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Hilsea's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Bergström came free, but Rachid Rowe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Jens Hedin lined in a short shot 1-6 behind a frustrated Rachid Rowe. In the 97th minute Wade Batty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Beck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ducktwig FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
