An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil dos Santos in the 58th minute of play forced SORRISO E. C.'s goalkeeper Valdo Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Falcão Marques got free with Valdo Catarinense in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th match minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chicão Matos to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes Rondinone F.C - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Chicão Matos. SORRISO E. C.'s Vítor Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. The referee ignored Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's protests and gave Falcão Marques a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rondinone F.C - FDFDF getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Falcão Marques hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the game, Tiago Fontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SORRISO E. C. the free kick. The supporters of SORRISO E. C. booed when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball.
