Leopoldo Sanches's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but John Victor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Leopoldo Sanches hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Pirani came free, but Gianluigi Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Joélson Paraibano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. John Victor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s John Victor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Sanches in the 36th minute of play. John Victor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joélson Paraibano in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goalkeeper John Victor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joélson Paraibano. Ladislao Mazurkiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but John Victor made a huge save. Elano Viana hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Gianluigi Donnarumma made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Ulisses Valadares sent off a good shot on target. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Gianluigi Donnarumma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrão Pirani in the 56th minute of play. Ulisses Valadares hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Igor Jesus's late challenge caught a S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Jesus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, Igor Jesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Gianluigi Donnarumma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save S.E.R. Caxias do Sul from getting a goal against them. Leopoldo Sanches took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John Victor. John Victor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Luizão Prata hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Luís Paulo Coelho's late challenge caught a S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Paulo Coelho helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Luís Paulo Coelho hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Pedrão Pirani ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gianluigi Donnarumma. Gianluigi Donnarumma yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Igor Jesus made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 86thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Gianluigi Donnarumma would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After a rather tough play, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Vitinho Moreira got a free kick in the 95th minute.
