Tomas Brandt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Santotis in the 9th minute of the match. If Marcelito Vivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Alianza Trujillo were awarded a corner. Szilveszter Szegh went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Marcelito Vivar advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 15th minute. The audience was convinced that Armando Santotis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Brandt was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. With a little luck, Sporting Chilcano's Lizardi Montanez got control of the ball when Marcelito Vivar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Sporting Chilcano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lizardi Montanez should have stopped the shot. 58 minutes into the match, Alianza Trujillo's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Justo came free, but Tomas Brandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramon Martino took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lizardi Montanez. Lizardi Montanez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Sporting Chilcano's Lizardi Montanez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olly Morgan in the 87th minute of play. After 88 minutes Sporting Chilcano's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Szilveszter Szegh who took care of the corner kick. 94 minutes into the match, Sporting Chilcano's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Martino came free, but Lizardi Montanez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lizardi Montanez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Martino, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Alianza Trujillo fully deserved thier win.
