In the 19th minute, Alianza Trujillo's Szilveszter Szegh ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elias Selatse. Elias Selatse yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alianza Trujillo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Belmiro Arruda was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Tachito's players had a chance to rest. Deportivo Tachito's Belmiro Arruda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tomas Brandt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 35 minutes into the match, Alianza Trujillo's goal looked a bit too open when Belmiro Arruda came free, but Tomas Brandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Dong Ping Sheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dong Ping Sheng was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. Alianza Trujillo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tomas Brandt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belmiro Arruda in the 40th minute of play. Marcelito Vivar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Elias Selatse made a huge save. In the 45th match minute, Deportivo Tachito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Tuste to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Alianza Trujillo made a substitution. Ramon Martino replaced Cayetano Montez. Deportivo Tachito's Elias Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pudes Vilas in the 53rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Alianza Trujillo's Pudes Vilas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elias Selatse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Deportivo Tachito's Fazil Gøl was substituted for Gartzen Bueno. Deportivo Tachito's 忠 许褚 was substituted for Belmiro Arruda. Elias Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pudes Vilas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 忠 许褚's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Brandt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Alianza Trujillo's goal looked a bit too open when 忠 许褚 came free, but Tomas Brandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Martino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joseph Fleckenstein was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 87 minutes into the match. Deportivo Tachito's Fabio Hustaz was substituted for Bartolo Damario. In the 87th minute, one of Deportivo Tachito:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deportivo Tachito. Elias Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olly Morgan in the 94th minute of the match. 99 minutes into the game, Fabio Hustaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Tomas Brandt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alianza Trujillo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo Tachito had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
