An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Escobar in the 4th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Callao's goalkeeper Reynaldo Termiñon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Callao's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Tomasini came free, but Reynaldo Termiñon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Loco Escajedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bieito Luzuriaga was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Club Deportivo Callao's Reynaldo Termiñon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Callao from getting a goal against them. Bieito Luzuriaga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Urtueta's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Pancho Tabernilla hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. If Loco Escajedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ALIANZA 1901 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Deportivo Callao were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Husni Yulianto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Loco Escajedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Bieito Luzuriaga made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Loco Escajedo got free with Bieito Luzuriaga in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Deportivo Callao's Reynaldo Termiñon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Escobar in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Callao's Zelipe Saucedo got a free kick in the 71st minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Richie Ason managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ALIANZA 1901's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richie Ason was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Loco Escajedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Bieito Luzuriaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ramiro Urtueta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Josepe Gamiz hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Husni Yulianto came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Club Deportivo Callao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Husni Yulianto couldn't finish the play. After 86 minutes of play, ALIANZA 1901's Josepe Gamiz made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reynaldo Termiñon was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the match, Loco Escajedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bieito Luzuriaga. ALIANZA 1901's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loco Escajedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Chants of Club Deportivo Callao echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as ALIANZA 1901 had held the ball for most of the match.
