In the 25th minute, Arnaldo Basajaun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gonçalo de Medeiros was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ulisses Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mariusz Komornicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariusz Komornicki was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roneixon Siqueira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 34 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Basajaun in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonçalo de Medeiros saved Espigão Steamrollers from getting behind. The throw-in from Mo Le Liang in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Espigão Steamrollers's Leandro Gil. If Arnaldo Basajaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo Basajaun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonçalo de Medeiros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Leandro Gil made in the 47th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Armağan Yörük. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Espigão Steamrollers's Gil Vieira was substituted for Ulisses Carioca. Espigão Steamrollers's Otto Sudaryanto quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Armağan Yörük, made in the 54th minute of the game. When CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Arnaldo Basajaun in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
