Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) U21 Czech Republic's Jan Dalecký started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Jiří Rýpar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Czech Republic and the U21 Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jiří Rýpar hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, U21 Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Dalecký came free, but Einar Klysnov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Einar Klysnov was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Jan Dalecký capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jan Dalecký really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Nic Nedal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lejf Brinkbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Nic Nedal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fillip Sivananda in the 23rd minute of play. Nic Nedal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fillip Sivananda went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Fillip Sivananda took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nic Nedal. Nic Nedal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 30 minutes into the match, U21 Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Wenike came free, but Nic Nedal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Einar Klysnov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Dalecký in the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of U21 Denmark booed when U21 Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petr Balek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimír Salaba's late challenge caught a U21 Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladimír Salaba helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Vladimír Salaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fillip Sivananda in the 44th minute of play forced U21 Czech Republic's goalkeeper Nic Nedal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alex Wenike was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Fillip Sivananda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nic Nedal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th match minute, U21 Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimír Salaba to maneuver through the defense. U21 Denmark made a substitution. Eli Løndov replaced Alex Wenike. The throw-in from Daniel Agger in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by U21 Czech Republic's Benedikt Šarišský. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fillip Sivananda in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nic Nedal saved U21 Czech Republic from getting behind. U21 Denmark made a substitution. Gorm Jattu replaced Hassan Mylting. Asmus Molbo made a great header on U21 Denmark's corner, it was just that U21 Czech Republic's Nic Nedal managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 71st minute Fillip Sivananda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nic Nedal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, U21 Czech Republic's goalkeeper Nic Nedal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lejf Brinkbo. In the 74th minute of the game Daniel Agger made a throw-in which Kenney Højerby played forward. In the 76th minute, Eli Løndov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nic Nedal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Gorm Jattu managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Gorm Jattu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nic Nedal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. U21 Czech Republic's Nic Nedal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fillip Sivananda in the 82nd minute of play. Nic Nedal didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when U21 Denmark's Eli Løndov shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eli Løndov in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nic Nedal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lejf Brinkbo scored 1-5 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nic Nedal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. U21 Denmark played a much better game than U21 Czech Republic and deserved their victory. The U21 Czech Republic players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
