Basilio Fernandez started the match with the kick off. In the 5th match minute, Ruquense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aadolf Virolainen to maneuver through the defense. Black is Back were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Ruquense FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gugu Goiano took the corner. Black is Back's Kristóf Balázs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Black is Back from getting a goal against them. Kristóf Balázs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basilio Fernandez in the 15th minute. With his leg Kristóf Balázs managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Ruquense FC's Basilio Fernandez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ruquense FC's François-Xavier Dionnet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Kaxe in the 20th minute of play. François-Xavier Dionnet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Kaxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Georg Moberg took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised François-Xavier Dionnet. François-Xavier Dionnet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Glenn Strömberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black is Back's supporters rose to their feet, but Glenn Strömberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. François-Xavier Dionnet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute, Otto Kaxe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kristóf Balázs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Fernandez in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Silvano Bide managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ruquense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvano Bide was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Black is Back were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Georg Moberg made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Gilbert Sjögren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Black is Back's Gilbert Sjögren got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute Ruquense FC were awarded a corner. Maciej Ciemiega went to the cornerflag to take it. François-Xavier Dionnet made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Otto Kaxe sent off a good shot on target. Otto Kaxe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. François-Xavier Dionnet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristóf Balázs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Quirze in the 71st minute of play. François-Xavier Dionnet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Kaxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. With a little luck, Ruquense FC's François-Xavier Dionnet got control of the ball when Otto Kaxe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aadolf Virolainen kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Otto Kaxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 82 minutes into the match, Black is Back's Georg Moberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that François-Xavier Dionnet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carl Gummeson charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
