Blumenau Esporte Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Otto Kaxe scored to the left of an out of position Luiz Fábio Leite, making the score, 1-0. 9 minutes in the game Gilbert Sjögren did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Glenn Strömberg. Bin Shevchenko took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristóf Balázs. Kristóf Balázs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 15 minutes into the match, Bin Shevchenko notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Black is Back's Kristóf Balázs. Kristóf Balázs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Xandinho Sharkin kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Bin Shevchenko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kristóf Balázs. Black is Back's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bin Shevchenko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Kristóf Balázs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bin Shevchenko's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Luiz Fábio Leite was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Otto Kaxe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Otto Kaxe really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. In the 36th minute, Otto Kaxe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Black is Back fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. The supporters of Blumenau Esporte Clube booed when Black is Back was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Sjögren didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Georg Moberg was the one to do the kick off. Bin Shevchenko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kristóf Balázs came out and tried to block the shot, but Bin Shevchenko slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 54th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bin Shevchenko during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Blumenau Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bin Shevchenko to maneuver through the defense. Xandinho Sharkin kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Kaxe came free, but Luiz Fábio Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Black is Back's goalkeeper Kristóf Balázs, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Blumenau Esporte Clube were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Black is Back's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nildo Dantas took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Black is Back's goalie and right to Edvaldo de Toledo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Black is Back's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Luiz Fábio Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Kaxe in the 87th minute of the match. Nildo Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Kristóf Balázs made a huge save. The Black is Back supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Blumenau Esporte Clube's performance. The match ended with a win for Blumenau Esporte Clube.
