The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 15th match minute, Despidida AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Lucila to maneuver through the defense. Ysmael Marfil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Ivănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Cina in the 22nd minute of the match. Claudio Cina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pastor Tino kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Petru Avramescu got a free kick in the 28th minute. Emiliano Velasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Ysmael Marfil made a huge save. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Cina in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Velasco in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ysmael Marfil saved DINAMO from getting behind. Leonard Demian kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Ysmael Marfil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petru Avramescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Cina in the 38th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Leonard Demian got a free kick in the 39th minute. 43 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Velasco. With a little luck, DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil got control of the ball when Emiliano Velasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Despidida AFC's Emanuel Lucila was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ysmael Marfil in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jaime Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Despidida AFC's Emanuel Lucila shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 48th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ysmael Marfil but with some difficulty. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudio Cina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Dinu Ivănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DINAMO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Raymond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ysmael Marfil came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond. But to his dismay, Alvaro Raymond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 91 minutes into the match, Alvaro Raymond had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ysmael Marfil. DINAMO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Raymond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Alvaro Raymond scored 4-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ysmael Marfil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the DINAMO players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Despidida AFC.
