BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Durvalino Toscano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durvalino Toscano in the 23rd minute of play forced BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's goalkeeper Aşkın Acar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Silviu Miclea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Aşkın Acar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Geovani Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Bambas in the 28th minute of play. Durvalino Toscano took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aşkın Acar. Aşkın Acar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 32 minutes into the game, Noia's Norberto Villegas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's Aşkın Acar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silviu Miclea in the 37th minute of play. Geovani Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Linquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Geovani Velloso was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Gürsel Durusoy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gürsel Durusoy really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Bogdan Bambas might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geovani Velloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bogdan Bambas ran back to his position shaking his head. Aşkın Acar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertinho Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silviu Miclea to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's Gürsel Durusoy got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute, Norberto Villegas made a precise shot to the right of Aşkın Acar. BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Durvalino Toscano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless.
