FC Barrera 2.0's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dinu Ivănescu 3 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After having played for 9 minutes, Dadá Maravilha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Barrera 2.0's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dadá Maravilha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Barrera 2.0's CJ Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save FC Barrera 2.0 from getting a goal against them. If Dadá Maravilha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Maravilha in the 12th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CJ Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 14th minute. Guo Lang Yang kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Emiliano Velasco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, CJ Buffon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg CJ Buffon managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Despidida AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cipriano Argenis was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Barrera 2.0's players had a chance to rest. FC Barrera 2.0's Válbson Vidal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fernando Selatse in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 34th minute Dadá Maravilha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Velasco got free with CJ Buffon in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CJ Buffon made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Emiliano Velasco sent off a good shot on target. After 42 minutes FC Barrera 2.0's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emanuel Lucila who took care of the corner kick. Emanuel Lucila made a great header on Despidida AFC's corner, it was just that FC Barrera 2.0's CJ Buffon managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, FC Barrera 2.0's Luís Fernando Arce got a free kick in the 43rd minute. CJ Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinu Ivănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd match minute, FC Barrera 2.0 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Argenis to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guo Lang Yang during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Ancho Branca replaced Dinu Ivănescu. CJ Buffon had in the 58thth minute some difficulties stopping Gabriel Silban's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 59 played minutes FC Barrera 2.0 got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Maravilha. CJ Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Raymond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 65th minute of play forced FC Barrera 2.0's goalkeeper CJ Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Alvaro Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but CJ Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 84th minute of the match Guo Lang Yang completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Guo Lang Yang a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when FC Barrera 2.0 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guo Lang Yang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Despidida AFC from getting a goal against them. Cipriano Argenis made in the 91st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gary Ayala. 95 minutes into the game, Augusto Oberrauch recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fernando Selatse. Augusto Oberrauch showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. FC Barrera 2.0's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
