François-Xavier Dionnet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bin Shevchenko went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. François-Xavier Dionnet came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Blumenau Esporte Clube's Bin Shevchenko. But to his dismay, Bin Shevchenko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. François-Xavier Dionnet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bin Shevchenko in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bin Shevchenko in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg François-Xavier Dionnet saved Ruquense FC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Bin Shevchenko sped through Ruquense FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of François-Xavier Dionnet. Remigio Quirze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Bin Shevchenko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that François-Xavier Dionnet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Luiz Fábio Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Fernandez in the 31st minute of play. Adolfo Joseph hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Adolfo Joseph in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Blumenau Esporte Clube's Xandinho Sharkin. Ruquense FC's François-Xavier Dionnet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bin Shevchenko in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Bin Shevchenko notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Ruquense FC's François-Xavier Dionnet. François-Xavier Dionnet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bin Shevchenko to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Atilano Ipar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blumenau Esporte Clube's Luiz Fábio Leite was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th minute Bin Shevchenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but François-Xavier Dionnet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Atilano Ipar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruquense FC's François-Xavier Dionnet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bin Shevchenko in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Basilio Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ruquense FC's goalkeeper François-Xavier Dionnet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basilio Fernandez got free with Luiz Fábio Leite in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bin Shevchenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Ruquense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bin Shevchenko came free, but François-Xavier Dionnet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basilio Fernandez kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Blumenau Esporte Clube's keeper Luiz Fábio Leite was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 83rd minute Ruquense FC were awarded a corner. Leopoldo Tonio went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remigio Quirze in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Fábio Leite saved Blumenau Esporte Clube from getting behind. Lucas-Ignacio Lugano kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
