With a left leg Gomez Esperanza saved Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC from getting behind. Dadá Maravilha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Gomez Esperanza made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Dadá Maravilha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gomez Esperanza. That made the score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. In the 25th minute, FC Barrera 2.0's Dadá Maravilha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 29th minute, FC Barrera 2.0's Marco Mendes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gomez Esperanza. Gomez Esperanza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Dadá Maravilha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Gomez Esperanza made a huge save. 36 minutes into the match, Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gary Ayala came free, but Gomez Esperanza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's goalkeeper Gomez Esperanza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Mendes. Marco Mendes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Gomez Esperanza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gary Ayala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gomez Esperanza having to make a save. A collision led to FC Barrera 2.0 getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Bruno Guimarães hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Bertalan Horváth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertalan Horváth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. CJ Buffon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gomez Esperanza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Mendes in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Marco Mendes made a precise shot to the right of Gomez Esperanza. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dadá Maravilha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gomez Esperanza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dadá Maravilha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Dadá Maravilha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gomez Esperanza was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC defense, Dadá Maravilha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gomez Esperanza. FC Barrera 2.0's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dadá Maravilha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Gary Ayala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gomez Esperanza was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. FC Barrera 2.0's Cacey Sharp was substituted for Dadá Maravilha. 77 minutes into the match, FC Barrera 2.0's Cacey Sharp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gomez Esperanza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's goalkeeper Gomez Esperanza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When FC Barrera 2.0's Cacey Sharp, in the 79th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for FC Barrera 2.0. FC Barrera 2.0 made a substitution. Boško Balaban replaced Marco Mendes. After having played for 81 minutes, Gary Ayala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Barrera 2.0's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gary Ayala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boško Balaban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90th minute Cacey Sharp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gomez Esperanza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Barrera 2.0 were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Silvio Maria took the corner. FC Barrera 2.0's Silvio Maria was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gomez Esperanza in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gomez Esperanza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cacey Sharp in the 95th minute of play.
