Bertalan Horváth kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC booed when Blumenau Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 minutes of play, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Bin Shevchenko made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gomez Esperanza was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Bin Shevchenko in the 17th minute of play forced Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's goalkeeper Gomez Esperanza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Bin Shevchenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gomez Esperanza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvaldo de Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bin Shevchenko in the 23rd minute of play forced Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's goalkeeper Gomez Esperanza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's Gomez Esperanza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bin Shevchenko in the 25th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Bin Shevchenko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Blumenau Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 40 minutes into the game, Bin Shevchenko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gomez Esperanza. Bin Shevchenko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. Gomez Esperanza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bin Shevchenko in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's goalkeeper Gomez Esperanza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The wind increased when László Almási made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bin Shevchenko came free, but Gomez Esperanza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bin Shevchenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gomez Esperanza came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Blumenau Esporte Clube's Bin Shevchenko. But to his dismay, Bin Shevchenko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After 65 played minutes Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC got a freekick which was hit by Jakab Sipos. Gomez Esperanza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bin Shevchenko in the 68th minute of the match. Nildo Dantas made a great header on Blumenau Esporte Clube's corner, it was just that Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's Gomez Esperanza managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 75thth minute of the game Bin Shevchenko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's Gomez Esperanza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. László Almási's late challenge caught a Blumenau Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. László Almási helped the player get up and apologised. László Almási hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute of the game Jakab Sipos made a throw-in which Illés Rigó played forward. Bin Shevchenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gomez Esperanza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bin Shevchenko went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's Gomez Esperanza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bin Shevchenko in the 91st minute of play. Gomez Esperanza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bin Shevchenko in the 94th minute of the match. Gomez Esperanza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvaldo de Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Blumenau Esporte Clube fully deserved thier win.
