Kind of Blue's Tonhão Rodrigues managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Börje Kämpe in the 16 minute of the game. Tonhão Rodrigues might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Seaman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tonhão Rodrigues ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the game, Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Seaman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. David Seaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Käller, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Anastasios Pallini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Cunha came free, but Wilhelm Galle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jenipapo SC's Raphael Cunha, in the 26th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Jenipapo SC. When Raphael Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jenipapo SC's protests and gave Raphael Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. 35 minutes into the game, one of Jenipapo SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jenipapo SC's David Seaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Käller in the 59th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Kind of Blue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joacim Hansson to maneuver through the defense. After 70 minutes Jenipapo SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joacim Hansson who took care of the corner kick. A very good chance for a goal. David Seaman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Käller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jenipapo SC's David Seaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Barbosa in the 80th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raphael Cunha in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilhelm Galle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Cunha came free, but Wilhelm Galle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper David Seaman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Östen Högman. Sebastian Käller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Seaman having to make a save. When the match was over Kind of Blue could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jenipapo SC throughout the match.
