Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Despidida AFC from getting a goal against them. Saverio Vistruario was slow to take the kick. During this time Creekers's players had a chance to rest. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toro Martínez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Riley Trotter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jude Crocker narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
