The referee ignored Lobos de Carelia's protests and gave Eusebio Rios a yellow card for diving instead. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Black Cold in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Xiao Xiang Ling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ninjas FK's Black Cold got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the game, Xiao Xiang Ling threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ninjas FK's Jorden Blomme quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Lobos de Carelia's zone, Stor Stad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Cortez came out of the goal and Stor Stad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Black Cold might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Cortez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Black Cold ran back to his position shaking his head. Nestor Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Black Cold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rickard Algren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Rios in the 39th minute of play. Lobos de Carelia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Horacio Oliverios in the 40th minute. Cleto Confesor made a great header on Lobos de Carelia's corner, it was just that Ninjas FK's Rickard Algren managed to reach the ball for a save. Xiao Xiang Ling hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute Black Cold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st minute, Prospero Perico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Stor Stad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 minutes of play, Ninjas FK's Black Cold made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nestor Cortez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Black Cold might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Cortez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Black Cold ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Black Cold in the 67th minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Nestor Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ninjas FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
