Prospero Perico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Arendarski having to interfere. Pavao Zadro kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Biskupiak came free, but Nestor Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Biskupiak in the 8th minute of play. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Fabian Arendarski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Zagłębie Dąbrowskie from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute, Karol Biskupiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pavao Zadro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Arendarski having to interfere. After some careless play in the Lobos de Carelia defense, István Hoffman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Cortez. The Lobos de Carelia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Cortez should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Perico got free with Fabian Arendarski in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabian Arendarski made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Pavao Zadro sent off a good shot on target. After 32 minutes Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cleto Confesor who took care of the corner kick. 35 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goal looked a bit too open when Ömür Seyfeddin came free, but Nestor Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 played minutes Lobos de Carelia got a freekick which was hit by Xiao Xiang Ling. Nestor Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Biskupiak in the 40th minute of play. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Karol Biskupiak got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabian Arendarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavao Zadro in the 46th minute of play. Ömür Seyfeddin might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Cortez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ömür Seyfeddin ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and István Hoffman made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Lobos de Carelia's Serafino Venerando got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After some careless play in the Lobos de Carelia defense, István Hoffman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Cortez. The Lobos de Carelia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Cortez should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Oliverios in the 59th minute of play forced Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goalkeeper Fabian Arendarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Oliverios came free, but Fabian Arendarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Karol Biskupiak came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Zagłębie Dąbrowskie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karol Biskupiak couldn't finish the play. Nestor Cortez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ömür Seyfeddin in the 66th minute. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie made a substitution. Patryk Zukowski replaced Karol Biskupiak. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Wincent Polkoski was substituted for Damazy Turok. Mugur Pandrea hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Fabian Arendarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Perico, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Otto Alberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ömür Seyfeddin in the 78th minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Nestor Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mugur Pandrea hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's Cleto Confesor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Arendarski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute Zagłębie Dąbrowskie were awarded a corner. Grzegorz Jankowski went to the cornerflag to take it. Xu Ran Zhen thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Nestor Cortez, a very annoying self made goal in the 84th minute which led to 0-3. Laureano Guipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. If Duran Mukerrem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Nestor Cortez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nestor Cortez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Duran Mukerrem in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
