Michel Haaland started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Ruquense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Tonio to maneuver through the defense. François-Xavier Dionnet acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 5th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Michel Haaland. Luís Paulo Trevisan hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, Basilio Fernandez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Roceira SC's Marcelinho Barral. Marcelinho Barral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Roceira SC! The referee gave Ruquense FC a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leopoldo Tonio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Roceira SC's Marcelinho Barral. 0-2. Michel Haaland hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Ruquense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ksawery Winnicki came free, but François-Xavier Dionnet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. François-Xavier Dionnet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ksawery Winnicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Roceira SC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Luís Paulo Trevisan hit a great ball. Marcelinho Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Bide in the 29th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Hulk Speed got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hulk Speed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hulk Speed could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but François-Xavier Dionnet made a huge save. Marcelinho Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Fernandez in the 42nd minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Ksawery Winnicki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roceira SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ksawery Winnicki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute Basilio Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hulk Speed got free with François-Xavier Dionnet in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Ruquense FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 56th minute, Luís Paulo Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Basilio Fernandez took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Marcelinho Barral to make any attempt to save it. Ruquense FC made a substitution. Ladislao Lehen replaced Miroslaw Mielak. Marcelinho Barral made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Basilio Fernandez sent off a good shot on target. Marcelinho Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Quirze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hulk Speed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilmar Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 85 played minutes Roceira SC got a freekick which was hit by Michel Haaland. Ruquense FC's François-Xavier Dionnet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ksawery Winnicki in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Luís Paulo Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruquense FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
