The Errecaborda AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián Espadas came free, but Edmond Verdun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Venceslao came free, but Edmond Verdun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Errecaborda AFC's zone, Adrián Espadas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Lano in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Pastor Ado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dan Wennerqvist, 2-0. Edmond Verdun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Lano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Hernan Lano sped through Errecaborda AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edmond Verdun. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrián Espadas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Joe Tate came free, but Dan Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmond Verdun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrián Espadas in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56thth minute of the game Joe Tate who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Adrián Espadas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soroca F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrián Espadas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute, Errecaborda AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Godofredo Quilino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Rodolfo Atarrabi replaced Hernan Lano. Răzvan Necula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Răzvan Necula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74th minute, Emílio Terra made a precise shot to the right of Dan Wennerqvist. Soroca F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 77 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmond Verdun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Terra came free, but Dan Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Răzvan Necula got free with Edmond Verdun in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joe Tate kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Errecaborda AFC made a substitution. Hipolito Neron replaced Miguel Savion. Errecaborda AFC made a substitution. After 89 minutes Errecaborda AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gustavo Tartalo who took care of the corner kick. Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edmond Verdun in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Soroca F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Errecaborda AFC.
