In the 24th minute Basilio Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruquense FC were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after A.D. Alcorcón's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leopoldo Tonio took the corner. The corner led Ruquense FC's Adolfo Joseph to fire away a dangerous shot which Maurino Serena despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
