Ruquense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michel Haaland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 9 played minutes Roceira SC got a freekick which was hit by Hulk Speed. 12 minutes into the match, Hulk Speed had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of François-Xavier Dionnet. Ruquense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hulk Speed was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ksawery Winnicki in the 16th minute of play forced Ruquense FC's goalkeeper François-Xavier Dionnet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Michel Haaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but François-Xavier Dionnet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrés Maraschin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for François-Xavier Dionnet. Ruquense FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. François-Xavier Dionnet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Haaland in the 22nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Hulk Speed put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of François-Xavier Dionnet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hulk Speed in the 29th minute of play forced Ruquense FC's goalkeeper François-Xavier Dionnet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hulk Speed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. François-Xavier Dionnet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Miroslaw Mielak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ruquense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miroslaw Mielak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Leopoldo Tonio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Hulk Speed made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Ruquense FC's goalkeeper François-Xavier Dionnet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel Haaland. Roceira SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Michel Haaland in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Ruquense FC's goalkeeper François-Xavier Dionnet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hulk Speed. A hard shot 63 in the game by Michel Haaland from a close distance when the talented François-Xavier Dionnet managed to make a qualified save. Ruquense FC's players were relieved. In the 72nd minute, Luís Paulo Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruquense FC's Ladislao Lehen was substituted for Miroslaw Mielak. After 73 played minutes Roceira SC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo Trevisan. Marcelinho Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Fernandez in the 75th minute of play. Ruquense FC's Leopoldo Tonio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcelinho Barral in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marcelinho Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Bide, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Ruquense FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leopoldo Tonio in the 83rd minute. Ruquense FC's Leopoldo Tonio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcelinho Barral in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Leopoldo Tonio was slow to take the kick. During this time Ruquense FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Leopoldo Tonio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Roceira SC's Marcelinho Barral did a great save. The supporters of Ruquense FC booed when Roceira SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Paulo Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Remigio Quirze fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ruquense FC's protests and gave Remigio Quirze a yellow card for diving instead.
