Lobos de Carelia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Käller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Nestor Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Käller in the 17th minute of the match. Wilhelm Galle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Lia in the 18th minute of play. Joacim Hansson was slow to take the kick. During this time Kind of Blue's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Joacim Hansson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nestor Cortez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 24th minute Cristobal Lia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Galle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Perico got free with Wilhelm Galle in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Prospero Perico could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Wilhelm Galle however easily saved by the left post. Sebastian Käller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nestor Cortez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimiro Millano got free with Wilhelm Galle in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Prospero Perico kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Kind of Blue's keeper Wilhelm Galle was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Lia in the 34th minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Wilhelm Galle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kind of Blue were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Lobos de Carelia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joacim Hansson took the corner. Kind of Blue's Joacim Hansson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nestor Cortez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 42nd minute Sebastian Käller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Käller came free, but Nestor Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Millano in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kind of Blue's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xu Ran Zhen was slow to take the kick. During this time Lobos de Carelia's players had a chance to rest. Vladimiro Millano was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Lobos de Carelia made a substitution. Amancio Cheche replaced Cristobal Lia. After some careless play in the Lobos de Carelia defense, Sebastian Käller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Cortez. After some careless play in the Lobos de Carelia defense, Sebastian Käller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Cortez. The Lobos de Carelia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Cortez should have stopped the shot. The Kind of Blue fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kind of Blue had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
