Jonas Klinsmann hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, PoWer SC 2K5's Lukas Goretzka got a free kick in the 6th minute. PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavao Zadro in the 9th minute of play. Nestor Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Middendorf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nestor Cortez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas Klinsmann went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Perico got free with David Rotariu in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd match minute, PoWer SC 2K5 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zvonimir Prestin to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavao Zadro in the 23rd minute of play forced PoWer SC 2K5's goalkeeper David Rotariu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zvonimir Prestin came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the PoWer SC 2K5 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zvonimir Prestin couldn't finish the play. Hector Todor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Prospero Perico notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu. David Rotariu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu got control of the ball when Prospero Perico tried to sneak it across the goal line. Prospero Perico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but David Rotariu made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Lobos de Carelia from getting a goal against them. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lobos de Carelia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Matthew Wagner was slow to take the kick. During this time PoWer SC 2K5's players had a chance to rest. PoWer SC 2K5's Matthew Wagner was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nestor Cortez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. David Rotariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavao Zadro, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Hector Todor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Nestor Cortez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nestor Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zvonimir Prestin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Zvonimir Prestin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Cortez was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 84th minute, Prospero Perico made a precise shot to the right of David Rotariu. PoWer SC 2K5's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Prospero Perico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. David Rotariu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Lobos de Carelia getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Xu Ran Zhen hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Leroy Kluttig kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nestor Cortez. That made the score 2-3 in the 93 minute of play. Leroy Kluttig did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-4 to the left of a surprised Nestor Cortez 96 minutes into the match. PoWer SC 2K5's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
