The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arkadiusz Kostka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Chiriac in the 2nd minute of play. After 7 minutes, Paolo Caradaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Atlanta and the FC MARKUS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC MARKUS booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Caradaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Gandalf Head came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Mugur Chiriac ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arkadiusz Kostka was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mugur Chiriac in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arkadiusz Kostka saved FC MARKUS from getting behind. With a little luck, Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski got control of the ball when Teobald Jeziorkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th match minute, FC MARKUS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucjan Drugi to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Lucjan Drugi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pankracy Glogowski. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucjan Drugi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Gandalf Head who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Pankracy Glogowski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gandalf Head did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Pankracy Glogowski 24 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Hatman came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Mugur Chiriac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiusz Kostka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arkadiusz Kostka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Chiriac, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Zbigniew Gendolla was slow to take the kick. During this time FC MARKUS's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FC MARKUS's corner Zbigniew Gendolla fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pankracy Glogowski quite easily take care of the ball. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gandalf Head, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC MARKUS were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Club Atlético Atlanta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zbigniew Gendolla took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC MARKUS's corner Zbigniew Gendolla fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pankracy Glogowski quite easily take care of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gandalf Head was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FC MARKUS's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Berdoi came free, but Arkadiusz Kostka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arkadiusz Kostka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Chiriac, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 53rdth minute of the game Mugur Chiriac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC MARKUS's Arkadiusz Kostka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute, Mugur Chiriac made a precise shot to the right of Arkadiusz Kostka. FC MARKUS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-6. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC MARKUS's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Kostka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Club Atlético Atlanta's Mugur Chiriac dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-7. The FC MARKUS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club Atlético Atlanta's performance.
