Nestor Cortez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 13 played minutes Lobos de Carelia got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Laurendi. In the 20th minute, Pavao Zadro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Perico in the 22nd minute of play. Nestor Cortez made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Miguel Savion sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute, Errecaborda AFC's Miguel Savion ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nestor Cortez. Nestor Cortez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Lobos de Carelia from getting a goal against them. When Joe Tate came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Errecaborda AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joe Tate couldn't finish the play. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Lobos de Carelia from getting a goal against them. Nestor Cortez made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Pastor Ado sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Lobos de Carelia booed when Errecaborda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Jerardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pavao Zadro scored 3-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmond Verdun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute, Pavao Zadro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Nestor Cortez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pastor Ado. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

If Pavao Zadro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nestor Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Gines in the 54th minute of play. Isidro Gines hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavao Zadro, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Pavao Zadro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Rameriz in the 69th minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Nestor Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidro Gines took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Cortez. Nestor Cortez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Nestor Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Jerardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Isidro Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Ado in the 79th minute of play. Edmond Verdun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prospero Perico in the 80th minute.
