No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vahdet Ulumeriç to strike the kick off in the second half. Vahdet Ulumeriç might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Cortez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vecdi Tamkut came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kjell Trengereid could save by the left post. Kjell Trengereid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Lia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lobos de Carelia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
