Ruquense FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leopoldo Tonio in the 28th minute. François-Xavier Dionnet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Goretzka, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Silvano Bide took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Rotariu. When Vilho Tikkanen fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ruquense FC's protests and gave Vilho Tikkanen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, Ruquense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilho Tikkanen to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zvonimir Prestin to make the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ruquense FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! In the 52nd minute there was a penalty for PoWer SC 2K5. Zvonimir Prestin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving François-Xavier Dionnet. 1-1. François-Xavier Dionnet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zvonimir Prestin, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Ruquense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Middendorf came free, but François-Xavier Dionnet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rdth minute of the game Basilio Fernandez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. François-Xavier Dionnet came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by PoWer SC 2K5's Hector Todor. But to his dismay, Hector Todor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Ruquense FC made a substitution. Ladislao Lehen replaced Miroslaw Mielak. 82 minutes into the match, Ruquense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zvonimir Prestin came free, but François-Xavier Dionnet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ruquense FC's zone, Patrick Middendorf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. François-Xavier Dionnet came out of the goal and Patrick Middendorf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 86 minutes, Zvonimir Prestin made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ruquense FC's François-Xavier Dionnet tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 88 minutes, Hector Todor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PoWer SC 2K5's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Todor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute Zvonimir Prestin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but François-Xavier Dionnet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. François-Xavier Dionnet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zvonimir Prestin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Quirze came free, but David Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Zvonimir Prestin came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the PoWer SC 2K5 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zvonimir Prestin couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ruquense FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for PoWer SC 2K5.
