Hélio Vaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dom Butler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hélio Vaz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 7th minute Hélio Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dom Butler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th match minute, KS LEW Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Crystal Phallus's Keith Sheppard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ignacy Zagrobelny narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Hélio Vaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dom Butler. Crystal Phallus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hélio Vaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 27 minutes into the game, KS LEW Chorzów's Marian Beninda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dom Butler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ian Coe hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Hélio Vaz struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Dom Butler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS LEW Chorzów. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséas Romero in the 36th minute of play forced Crystal Phallus's goalkeeper Dom Butler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélio Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dom Butler having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélio Vaz in the 44th minute of play forced Crystal Phallus's goalkeeper Dom Butler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Pedro Luís Alcântara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS LEW Chorzów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After the first half KS LEW Chorzów were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ian Coe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Ian Coe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignacy Zagrobelny was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Zachary Ruszkowski charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zachary Ruszkowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th match minute, KS LEW Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachary Ruszkowski to maneuver through the defense. Dom Butler made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Hélio Vaz sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Crystal Phallus getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Alistair Ferdinand hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, Marian Beninda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Dom Butler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marian Beninda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Crystal Phallus's Tommy Perkins got a free kick in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Hélio Vaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Dom Butler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hélio Vaz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Dom Butler when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 79th minute of the match KS LEW Chorzów got a corner. Crystal Phallus's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marian Beninda ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led KS LEW Chorzów's Marian Beninda to fire away a dangerous shot which Dom Butler despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, KS LEW Chorzów's Hélio Vaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dom Butler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ian Coe in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignacy Zagrobelny prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
