ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's attack was well implemented in the 5th minute, but when Luiz Nascimento was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Maurício Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chiquinho Gaspar during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Despite this Maurício Correia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Maurício Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nando de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Correia having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Tiaguinho Hermes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AnÐaRaHy the free kick. In the 27th minute, Tiaguinho Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Oswaldo Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elói Mandrak in the 29th minute of play. Oswaldo Nunes made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Jacinto Campidelis sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the match, Jacinto Campidelis notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Oswaldo Nunes. Oswaldo Nunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Beto Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. It was a well-played corner which Evaristo Mello managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luiz Nascimento made a kick off. After a rather tough play, AnÐaRaHy's Jacinto Campidelis got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 63rd minute, AnÐaRaHy's Zé Pedro Cearense seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zé Pedro Cearense the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AnÐaRaHy protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zé Pedro Cearense had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in AnÐaRaHy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! AnÐaRaHy:s Maurício Correia showed great skill when he stopped Luiz Nascimento:s penalty. After some careless play in the ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ defense, Beto Machado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oswaldo Nunes. The ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oswaldo Nunes should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute Luiz Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Tiaguinho Hermes to fire away a dangerous shot which Maurício Correia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Maurício Correia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emerson Motta went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Evaristo Mello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Maurício Correia made a huge save. The AnÐaRaHy players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
