After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Ronaldo Pinho got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's goal looked a bit too open when Nando de Queiroz came free, but Doni Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Castanheiro SC's Doni Seco got control of the ball when Luiz Nascimento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Doni Seco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Pena's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Marcelo Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oswaldo Nunes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Eger went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 32nd minute, Luiz Nascimento made a precise shot to the right of Doni Seco. Castanheiro SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The shot was stopped by Doni Seco but with some difficulty. 54 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Nascimento came free, but Doni Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute of the match, Marcelo Eger tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oswaldo Nunes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Diego Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Doni Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Oswaldo Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Eger in the 95th minute of play. The Castanheiro SC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Castanheiro SC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
