Caxias do Sul were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Bizard FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lei Feng Yan took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Tarcisio Mangueira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ademar Fernandes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Sena in the 88th minute of play forced S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Aurelio Walme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Owsiak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Ademar Fernandes made a huge save. In the 91stth minute of the game Luiz Fabiano Sena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Aurelio Walme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
